Body Language have a full barrel of genres they’re willing to throw at you and past releases have seen them delve into jungle, disco, soul and now r&b. Very few artists manage to pull it off, though and many even fall off the radar at the very attempt. You know you’re therefore listening to a unique, one-off group when you find a bunch of tunes that are executed with such panache but performed in a deluge of different sounds, styles and rhythm. ‘Reset’ displays that certain melodic strut that so many ‘r&b’ songs have amiss; it’s not something easily defined but as you listen, you kinda’ just know and this tune definitely has it.
I'm the Editor of The Vibe Guide. I also occasionally dabble with the label side, too. Drop me a line if you've got an interesting story. If you're sending promo, please don't include the age of the producer/singer - this isn't the porn industry - if you're talented, you're talented :)
