Having been championed by the likes of Jon Hopkins (which I should I mention is the best compliment you could receive in the electronic music world), Blue Hawaii are blowing the indie/electronic world away with their Bon Iver meets Sigur Rós hybrid amalgamation of awesomeness.
‘Get Happy’ is part of a 2-track EP released as a free download and features a special spiritual undercurrent that brings to mind a choirboy’s dream of perfection. The vocalist is earthy but feels somewhat wounded despite her impressive upper register, nonetheless, this record is best described as “angelic” (yes, I’m well aware of how clichéd that sounds, now fuck off).
