This new tune by J Tropic is pure (pop) fire. The tempo in ‘Who U Are’ bounces lightly and the drama of the whole thing escalates beautifully allowing the vocals to display real feelings, as cheesy as that sounds. The synth-laden ambience explodes at every chorus with the instrumentals lying somewhere between PC music and Wave Racer. It’s produced in the most respectful way with every element complimenting one another, the way electronic music should sound; this is a very good, well-polished record.

‘Who U Are’ will be released as part of what sounds like a fabulous EP entitled Love Up; I can’t seem to find any information about the artist(s), but I can only imagine we’ll be hearing more of him/her/them in the very near future.
