While there is no doubting the brilliance of HNNY’s past releases, ‘12.00’ on his own imprint – Yummy – has an irresistible buzz about it. With subtle synth swells and a riff that screams summer fun, this record allows HNNY’s production technique to shine through. It seems as though he is most comfortable making delicious, jazz-influenced house, but most importantly, his productions are consistently good. With every release, it feels as though HNNY is heading somewhere rather special.
