‘Maybe’ by Fabienne sees the London-based singer and songwriter get caught up in the wave of woozy, midtempo R&B influenced pop which by its definition should trigger all sorts of emotion. Fabienne’s vocals are rough around the edges but she sounds incredibly unpretentious and charming, a trait that so many singers are missing at the moment. There’s a real emotive and genuine feel here, the song hasn’t be forced and rehearsed to aggravating levels of ubiquity rather, it feels raw supported only by an equally sincere acoustic guitar.

I'm the Editor of The Vibe Guide. I also occasionally dabble with the label side, too. Drop me a line if you've got an interesting story. If you're sending promo, please don't include the age of the producer/singer - this isn't the porn industry - if you're talented, you're talented :)
