There are things you can’t avoid in life; finding two remixes of the same record is one of them, especially when both are purely fantastic.
The soothing breeze exhaled by Moutain of Youth’s edit is pleasantly relaxing, whilst the energy is sparkling and communicative in Glastrophobie‘s edit (available here), rendering it impossible to choose between them, even though .. Well, everyone’s different.
In each version, the repetitive sample of the voice, accompanied by the whistling, the drums, and this soft synth… Leave no doubt whatsoever about the quality, even so it mostly helps enlighten the opposite vision towards ‘Float’.
No matter which artist set his goal on giving us the sensation of wavering on a cloud, the one sure thing is that Pacific Air and ‘Float’ keep stupefying us a year later, splendid and shining as ever, truthful to its essence.
What else ? Both of them available for download, enjoy !
