Elkoe is cheering us up, bringing the summer with this refined and beautifully reworked record of Passenger. Nothing was assured until the vibes kept coming at us, showing tenderness and affection, magnified by the deep touch given to this record.
This voice seems disturbingly close and far away, coming with us on a reminiscent trip.
Then again, playing with our nerves, the singer’s voice fades out, only clearing the path for Elkoe to shine as the drop blows us away as would any heated afternoon do.
