One of Live Nation’s biggest events just got bigger! We now have not one, but TWO jam-packed weekends to enjoy great music at the 2014 Sasquatch! festival! Each weekend promises to be two unforgettable holiday weekends at the Gorge Amphitheater in eastern Washington state, one of America’s most beautiful outdoor concert venues.
Weekend #1 commences Friday, May 23rd for Memorial Day weekend. This weekend has the perfect mix of popular modern day music artists, alternative rock artists, and some of our favorite electronic artists. Well known musicians such as Kid Cudi, Foster the People, Outkast! and Queens of the Stone Age will be performing as headliners at the main stage, which are all sure to be fun energetic performances. If you’re looking for something a bit smaller with a more mellow vibe, you’ll want to head over to the Bigfoot stage at some point over the weekend to see artists such as Cut Copy, Portugal the Man, and Washed Out. If you want to dance to electronic music, you have to make it to the El Chupacabra stage to see Boize Noize, Yelle, AlunaGeorge, Classixx, and Tokimonsta along with a handful of other talented music artists and a few stand up comedians such as Nick Swardson.
Weekend #2 starts on the Fourth of July! From July 4th through the 6th, you will have the opportunity to see a more classic headlining bunch with musicians such as New Order, Soundgarden, and Kraftwerk (3D). Other mentionables who will be performing at the mainstage are Royksopp + Robyn, Spoon, Of Montreal, and Dr. Dog. At the Bigfoot stage, Frank Ocean, La Roux, St. Lucia, and several others will be putting on what are sure to be stellar performances. If you need something a bit more dancey, head over to El Chupacabra and see Dillon Francis, Tchami, Gold Panda, and Duke Dumont. And if none of these artists tickle your fancy, don’t forget there are two more stages at the festival both weekends, Yeti and Narwhal, with performances from many other miscellaneous artists.
With two weekends and multiple stages and music artists to choose from, you’re sure to find a good time in there somewhere! Don’t miss out and get your tickets to Sasquatch 2014 today!
