Ricoshëi – Perfect Like You

Ricoshëi is a brand new LA-based electro duo formed by Nikko Gibler and Jake Patrick Cohen. Well, ‘brand new’ isn’t exactly the right term to classify them because “Perfect Like You” is in fact their debut record. After listening to it you’ll surely ask yourself how some people are able to produce such an original and inspiring record in their first try whilst gaining a top spot in the Hype Machine chart.

“Perfect Like You” originally takes you back to your strongest memory of love. It’s clean and progressive style made of distended piano keys, playful synths and nostalgic vocals build up the path to those delightful moments. The genuine voice-like percussion basis is wisely applied and the classy violin melody creates an inspiring atmosphere that deepens the whole complex. Finally, as the violin gains power, the climax is reached and with it the smoothness of the emotions that flow right through you.
