Kick off the week with some jazzy electronic vibes from Akshin Alizadeh.
Powered with lots of soul and Southern roots, “Southern Man” is an eclectic journey into the experimentation of sound. When the track powers up, you might think this is going to turn into a smooth jazz edit, but the hip-hop drumbeats keeps the urban momentum.
Whether you label this funk, trip-hop, chill out, or a hybrid of all three, one thing I’m sure we can agree on is that this is a great track with raw soul.
While listening to this, I immediately begin to think of walking down an old country road. Better yet, the perfect scenario would be sitting on a beautiful porch, sipping some lemonade, and daydreaming about a “Southern Man.”
