Back in 2011, Belgian singer/songwriter Selah Sue made a stellar debut with her single, “I Truly Love Ya.” And three years later, Kungs is creating some buzz for the soul singer with his bootleg edit.
The young French producer powers up this bootleg by speeding up (increasing the BPM) the guitar chords from the original. With a new momentum and the raspy vocals of Selah, Kungs then livens up the party with some tropical drums.
In contrast to the slow-burn vibes of the original, Kungs bootleg of “I Truly Loved Ya” is a joyful, lighthearted, and warm track perfect for a day at the beach.
