Mysterious British duo Jungle, create smooth Electro-Soul which as a genre you may not have known to have existed before now,. There is a growing following behind the pair who are currently supporting the BBC Sound Of 2013 Winner Haim whilst making the long list for this years run-down of tipped bands for the year.
Jungle do not as their name suggests create “Jungle music”, whether that be evocative of sweaty 90’s drum and bass warehouse parties, tribal world music or sounds from the Disney movie; Instead it’s a soulful blend of electronic, low tempo and funk to unique effect with few comparable contemporaries. ”Lucky I got What I Want’ is taken from their début EP The Heat which can be found in full on their soundcloud.
