The new track by the Vienna based duo FlicFlac features a remix of the American Singer/Songwriter Rodriguez’ song “Can’t Get Away”. The original Song was part of the soundtrack from the Oscar winning Movie “Searching for a Sugar Man” from 2012.
The FlicFlac remake is a very typical example to their style. Other than the pumping beat, some overdubs and a few effects, not a lot has been done to the track, but this is exactly the vibe that the numerous FlicFlac followers crave so much. Rodriguez’ warm voice works miracles in combinations with clever dynamic arrangements. Once again we can see that sometimes one can achieve more with less.
