One of the features of Endor’s output has been his ability to blend a nagging, pogo bounce hook with expansive but raw emotion. This record peels back the neon and glitter veneer that most producers apply when using Loleatta Holloway’s Love Sensation sample and instead captures ecstasy with intent.
Sexy and distinctively crawling with sly melodies, its chorus, so to speak, buries the accompanying bass with chirpy organ riffs. ‘’Hot Temptation’’ is every bit the archetypal Endor record, but it seems like the flavoursome body is indubitably making up for the breakdown which is lacking in the intricacies that we have come to expect from the UK producer.
